Day 01
After the 4 hours drive from the Airport to Anuradhapura, we will be exploring the Anuradhapura Heritage site, which is related to 3rd BC Ancient ruins and monuments including 8 major and 4 mini sites including Sri maha bodhi, Jethawanaramaya monastery & museum, Abhayagiriya monastery and museum, Lankaramaya, Isurumuniya, Thuparamaya, Kuttam pokuna or Twin pond, Elephant pond, Moonstone, Refectory, Guard stone pavilion, Ruwanweliseya monastery, Mirisawetiya, Samadhi statue, Lovamahapaya or Image house which will take upto 3 hours.
Day 02
The Journey will take upto 2 hours from Anuradhapura to reach at the destination as we will be exploring the Sigiriya rock fortress and the museum for another 3 hours.
Day 03
We will take a drive from Sigiriya to Dambulla for 1/2 hours as we will be visiting Dambulla cave temple, Matale Herbs and spice gardens and Matale hindu temple where you’ll be able to witness all the charity work for about another 3 hours. From Dambulla, we will be taking a drive to Kandy which will take upto 3 hours.
Day 04
We will be exploring the Kandy city for 6 hours as we will be visiting the Temple of tooth, the Kandy lake, Bahirawa Kanda Buddhist Statue and the Kandy Central Market on the City tour.
Day 05
We will take a 2 hours drive from Kandy to Kithulgala and will be enjoying White Water Rafting and canoeing in Kithulgala valley for another 6 hours. Then we will start our drive from Kithulgala to Adam’s Peak for 2 hours.
Day 06
We will be trekking to Siripada (Adam’s Peak) for 8 hours as it’s known as one of the best places to trek in Sri Lanka. Starting at 2.00 am (midnight) the walk will be for 4 hours as you’ll be able to witness the magnificent Sunrise from the top of the mountain, which takes almost hours.
Day 07
From Adam’s Peak, we will drive to Nuwara Eliya (The little england town) approximately for 2 hours. We will be visiting the Devon waterfalls and the St.Clair’s waterfall on the way as we will stay the night in Nuwara Eliya.
Day 08
We will be Trekking from the highest city called Shanthipura to Single Tree Mountain for 6 hours in Nuwara Eliya.
Day 09
From Nuwara Eliya, we will be taking one of the most attractive train journeys in Sri Lanka for 2 hours.
Day 10
We will be trekking to the little Adam’s Peak (Not the aforesaid Adam’s Peak) approximately for 1 ½ hours. We will be visiting the Ella Cave and the Rawana Ella waterfall for another ½ hour.
Day 11
We will join a journey from Ella to Mirissa Beach which will take upto 4 ½ hours as we will be visiting the Devundara lighthouse, Weherahena Temple and the Blow hole.
Day 12
The 12th day is all about relaxing as we will be visiting the Mirissa beach to spend the day.
Day 13
We will be driving from Mirissa to Galle, the historical city for approximately ½ hours, while witnessing the stilt fishermen in Weligama and the turtle hatchery on the way. And we will be exploring the Galle Dutch Fort afterwards.
Day 14
We will take a drive from Galle to Hikkaduwa for ½ hours to go snorkeling, exploring Corals, visiting the Tsunami disaster village and the historical Kahawa Moonstone mines.
Day 15
The last day of the journey is all about relaxing on the beach as we will be dropping you off at the airport on time.
